Cranberry Nut Bread


INGREDIENTS:

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup cut cranberries
1 egg
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 tablespoons hot water
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup orange rind
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients. Add all the wet ingredients; stir to moisten, then add cranberries and nuts. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325 degrees in 2 well-greased loaf pans.
