Elephant Ears
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 pound frozen Bread Dough (thawed)
Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Separate dough into four round balls and rest on a board that has been floured. Let rise for 10 minutes. Roll dough out into a large oval 1/4 inch thick. Rest again for an additional 10 minutes.
Heat deep fryer. Set heat at 375 degrees. Deep fry each oval piece until golden brown. Flip elephant ear over and fry the other side. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to absorb any remaining oil. Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar on the elephant ear.
