Gringo Chili


INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 can (28 oz) stewed tomatoes (reserve 1 cup liquid)
1 med onion chopped
1 can (23 oz) chili beans
2 TBS chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1TBS sugar
3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
water


Cook beef in large kettle just until meat is no longer pink. Drain liquid Add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and add enough water to make desired consistency (approx 3 cups) Place on low heat and simmer for 1 hour.
