Hot Beef Mushroom Appetizer
INGREDIENTS:
2 medium onions, chopped
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 package(8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 package(4-1/2 ounces) dried beef, chopped
112 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Crackers or party rye bread
In a skillet, sauté onions in butter until tender. Stir in cream cheese until smooth. Add mushrooms, beef, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder; mix well. Spoon into a 9-in. pie plate. Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm with crackers or rye bread. Yield: 12-16 servings (3 cups).
