Layer Salad


INGREDIENTS:

1 head lettuce, shredded
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1 package of frozen peas
1 to 1 ½ cups mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sugar
2 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 - 10 slices bacon cooked and crumbled


Arrange in 13 x 9 inch pan. Start adding the layers starting with the lettuce, then celery, then peppers, onions and peas. Mix together mayonnaise and sugar . Spread evenly over layer of peas. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate overnight. Before serving, sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
