Russian Tea


INGREDIENTS:

1.Bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Set aside and add 5 regular tea bags to steep for 3 hours.

2. Meanwhile Boil 1 1/2 cups water, add 2 cups of sugar and 24 to 30 whole cloves. Stir untill the sugar melts. Set aside.

3. After 3 hours, Remove tea bags and add 6 more cups of water to 1, and add sugar water (2 to 1) . Remove cloves.

4. Add juice of 2 lemons (approx 6 to 8 tbsp), Juice of 6 oranges (approx 3cups) and 2 cups of pineapple juice (not canned) Serve hot either by the cup or rewarmed in a coffee pot. Makes at least 1 gallon, Serves 16 cups or more. An absolute wonderful drink for company in the winter.
